Crayola Crayon Tower as a storage solution for Caran D'Ache Neocolor II crayons

Saw a blog post a while back ago (Sorry, I can't seem to find it again) regarding this crayon storage tip.  Picked up this telescoping Crayola Crayon Tower on sale at Target this past holidays, and set aside its contents for my nephews' coloring time.  The remaining empty tower rack with removable sharpener is a pretty clever contraption that can also house artists crayons that far out perform the kid version.
The original storage tin of 84 Caran D'Ache Neocolor II crayons takes up almost twice as much real estate on a work table than the Crayola tower.  There is still plenty of room left for additional art crayons to complete this custom set.
The built-in green sharpener sadly is too narrow to work with the Neocolor II crayons, but thankfully it is removable clearing up additional storage space for other desk utensils.
In short this Crayola tower is a convenient space-saving solution for having 84 Neocolor II crayons and a few additional drawing/coloring tools handy and ready-to-work on a cramped drawing station.  Color selection is facilitated by the fact that its two inner tier sections can be raised and locked in place with a simple twist if desired.  A useful feature as the crayons get shorter or broken with use.

That's an awesome idea! I loved that Crayola tower and bought one for my grandchildren. Guess I'll have to buy another one for ole' Granny!

Es bastante fuerte, pero por supuesto no lo tiraria al suelo por miedo a que se quiebre. Y esta hecho para nenes despues de todo.
