Derwent Neoprene Pencil Wrap Spotlight

Just received my latest Cheap Joe's order: couple of Derwent pencil cases. I can always use another pencil wrap to hold some of the pencil sets in my collection, and I was intrigued by the portable pencil stand version (which will be reviewed by itself in the next post).
Original Derwent Canvas wrap, Yasutomo Niji roll, and Derwent Neoprene pencil wrap.
Opened flat, you might notice that it features the same arrangement of holding loops and protective flap as the redesigned canvas wrap.
The new home for my set of 36 Faber Castell Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils.
Bottom view. With the flap covering the pencil points, there is just no chance that any might slip off through this end.
Top view.
Fully loaded with 36 pencils and an extender, it is ready for a sketching trip. While it feels a tad bulkier than the original canvas wrap, its plastic construction also feels like it provides some extra cushioning to protect the contents against shock. The neoprene has the added advantage of being more water-resistant and can be easily wiped clean. Recommended.
