Sketching tools: Mitsubishi Hi-Uni 10B for warm up sheet. Pentel Black Polymer 999 HB drawing pencil for the figure skeleton. Sanford Design Ebony for further details. Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen with a brush nib for inking. Sakura block style eraser XREC-100 for clean up of stray lines. Pretty much selected these tools at random from my desk, and the main practical observation would be that the Design Ebony pencil marks did not erased completely after several passes with the eraser. Thus the soft Ebony lead should probably be reserved for the later stages of a drawing once the proper proportions and under structure have been worked out.Support: Xerox Premium Multipurpose 24 lb paper.

Hey Alberto, from where did you got that Sakura eraser? *grins*. My comment may be of topic, but I wonder if in the future you can test it against the Mono Tombow plastic eraser. The Sakura is more of a legend for me, cause I cant get hold of one, but the Mono Tombow impressed me a lot. Do you know if the Cretacolor Nero (I dont know if you are familiar with it) is a good alternative for those Ebony pencils? Thanks.
That Sakura eraser has been packaged lately packaged with the "Sakura Pigma Sensei Manga Drawing set". The first sets used to be packaged with a Sakura Foam eraser with a blue sleeve. I have never seen either eraser block offered for sale by themselves. As luck would have it, I just own a single tiny Tombow Mono eraser that came bundled with a tube of 0.5 mm leads, so I'll give them a side by side comparison in the future. The Cretacolor Nero 5.6 mm drawing leads seem to contain carbon and wax that yield dark lines that are fairly smudge resistant and are available in two hardness grades.
