Recently came across a couple of
Strathmore Windpower paper pads on clearance at about 50% of their suggested retail price.

Decided to start experimenting with the
Strathmore Windpower smooth Bristol board. Plan to use the large drawing pad on a future post.

The
Sakura Pigma Sensei pens glided quite easily on top of this smooth
Bristol surface.

Will wait a tad longer to try out the large Drawing pad.

Batch of practice sketches drawn with assorted pigmented pens on
Georgia Pacific white card stock while waiting at the clinic for a couple of hours.
Faber Castell Big Pitt Artist Brush Pen color test doodles.

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen sketch on
Georgia Pacific white card stock.

Drawn with a
Prismacolor Black-98 Double ended marker.
Sharpie dual point pen (Fine/Ultra Fine) test doodle.

Couple of
Sharpie Fine-point pen sketches.

Tip on the
Sharpie pen was a tad blunter on this second
Bakugan-inspired doodle, but it still was quite functional. I find them adequate for sketching in well-ventilated areas, and they are quite easy to replace given their widespread distribution.

Hi, my names Sophie, I'm 11 years old and am bonkers about art and am saying from 1 crazy artist to an excellent 1 that you are best drawer I have ever seen!!! (apart from my awsome art teacher) I hope to be like you some day =)
Thank you for the kind comment Sophie. Always carry your sketchbook and practice your drawing skills at every opportunity, look at the works of different artists throughout history, and you will continue to improve and become the artist you are meant to be with your own style in no time. Keep drawing and have fun!
