Couple of Speed sketches

Doodling with pigment liner pens and Faber Castell Pitt Artist brush pen. Mainly testing if my blogger account is back to normal. I was unpleasantly surprised earlier when I couldn't access my blogs and kept getting the screen displaying the message "blog removed".

This is great!!! do you have any tips for using ink. I design my own character and I am thinking to use ink but I am afraid to mess up the drawing because I have not experience with ink. By the way very nice blog

best,

Thank you for your comment. Besides diving right in and playing with your inking tools on a smooth support to get familiar with their feel and handling, I would recommend getting plenty of inexpensive practice paper to reduce any natural inhibition or reluctance to "waste" materials. These two sketches for example were done on letter size Georgia Pacific 110 lb white card stock that often retails for about 5 bucks for a pack of 150 sheets at big box retailers.
