Looking at the new arrivals list of JetPens last night, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they now feature a complete 22-graphite degrees 50th Anniversary boxed set of Uni-ball Hi-Uni Wooden Pencil Art Set - 10B to 10H. I have blogged often about the near-magical creative virtues of the Mitsubishi Hi-Uni pencils, after trying a few pencils from their fine range thanks to accommodating family and friends returning from Asia. I liked them so much that I carry a select handful of these premium wooden pencils in my daily sketching kit. Not so long ago, JetPens made the dozen boxes of Hi-Uni pencils available in their website from 6B to 9H.This complete Art Set could be the crown piece in your graphite collection if you have use for the range of hard pencils from H to 10H that are ideal for creating lighter marks and technical drawings. I am tempted by those four 7B-10B soft pencils (not currently available outside this boxed set), but I seldom use anything harder than an F or an H lead on my sketches. While I remain content with getting my preferred pencil hardness by the dozen, anybody else looking for the full range of the best quality graphite wooden pencils available in the World could find no better deal stateside.
